Dr. Weisman has acted as a consultant for various
corporations and government agencies including IBM, AT&T, General
Motors, Phillip Morris, General Foods, The Mayor’s Office of New York
City, The County Executive of Westchester County, New York, as well as,
mid-size public and private firms. He has served as Executive Director
of the Mid-Hudson Group, a firm of more than twenty business
consultants, serving national and international companies. He has been
a major contributor in the establishment of six private and publicly
held firms in which he was a major principal and officer.
Dr. Weisman has and does act as an investment
advisor and portfolio manager for individuals, corporations and trusts.
He has partnered with Financial World Magazine publishers of
“Weisman Stock Selection” which outperformed all of the other magazine
stock advisors. He has been cited by Forbes Magazine as having
the best portfolio record.
Professor Weisman has taught at New York
University, Iona College where he served as the Chair of the Business
Department, and at Long Island University where he served as Dean and
Director of the Graduate Business Program in Westchester County, New
York. He also served as Chairperson of the Business and Economics
Department at Mercy College where he currently holds the title of
Professor Emeritus.
He has attended the University of Alabama,
University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School of Business), Ohio State
University and New York University where he earned his B.S., M.B.A. and
his Ph.D. with Distinction.
He has received several honorary degrees and
has been listed in Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who of
International Intellectuals, Who’s Who in Finance & Industry and Who’s
Who in America. He has received various awards and is a member of Mensa
International. |
