Admission Procedures

 

  • Print and complete the application.                                                                                                                Download: English/Spanish

  • Compose a profile of your professional and academic background. 
  • An application fee of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) is required which is non-refundable.
  • All questions should be directed to the Director of Admissions, Carolyn Heller West at 1(888) 989-GRAD, Monday through Friday, 11am-4pm EST. We suggest you contact Carolyn for her insight and advice, regarding any additional information or questions you may have.
  • After a review of your portfolio, the Dean of your potential programme will contact you, concerning your acceptance and your individualized plan of study.
  • Please send in the following :  

    1. Your completed application,

    2. The profile of your professional and academic background,

    3. Unofficial transcripts and/or CEU certificates may be included for evaluation, (official transcripts must be sent by your graduate institutions for verification.)

    4. Your application fee for $250 payable to U.S. Information Center Corp.

Doctoral Degree Requirements*

  • A relevant master's degree or equivalent

  • Documented pertinent professional experience

  • 93 credits**, which include the following.

     

    • For the Ph.D.

      • 66 post-baccalaureate credits** graduate credits in transfer, prior to, or after admission.

      • Research and Design I, II (6 Credits).

      • A ten-day-residency at the University in St. Kitts, West Indies (3 Credits).

      • A Dissertation and Oral Defense (18 Credits).

       

    • For the D.A.S, D.B.A., D.S.W., Ed.D., Psy.D.

      • 66 post-baccalaureate credits** graduate credits in transfer, prior to, or after admission.

      • Research and Design I, II (6 Credits).

      • A ten-day residency at the University in St. Kitts, West Indies (3 Credits).

      • The Project and the Oral Examination (18 Credits).

       

Master's Degree Requirements

  • A relevant bachelor's degree

  • Documented pertinent professional experience

  • 42 credits**, which include the following.

     

    • For the M.A., M.B.A., M.S., M.Sc.;

      • 27 post-baccalaureate credits** graduate credits in transfer, prior to, or after admission.

      • Research and Design I (3 Credits).

      • A ten-day residency at the University in St. Kitts, West Indies (3 Credits).

      • The Thesis and the Oral Defense or the Project and Oral Examination (12 Credits).

 

* The  Public Health and Healthcare Programme maintain specific degree requirements.

** All relevant graduate credits, including those credits from advance degrees, as well as approved graduate level continuing education and licensing coursework
