Forensic Science

The course of study is designed for professionals whose work intersects with the law and the judiciary, especially as consultants, evaluators, investigators, expert witness and for fact witnesses. Candidates will be admitted to one of eleven tracks, which will be tailored to their professional goals.

Degree Requirements

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Doctor of Applied Science (D.A.S.)

A relevant master's degree.
Documented pertinent professional experience.
Certification or licensure as an alcohol and drug counselor.
93 credits*, which include the following:

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

66 post-baccalaureate graduate credits* in transfer, prior to, or after admission.
Research and Design, I, II. (6 credits)**
The 7 day Graduate Seminar at the 10 day residency in St. Kitts. (3 credits)
A Dissertation and Oral Defense. (18 Credits).

Doctor of Applied Science (D.A.S.)

66 post-baccalaureate graduate credits* in transfer, prior to, or after admission.
Research and Design, I, II. (6 credits)**
The 7 day Graduate Seminar at the 10 day residency in St. Kitts. (3 credits)
A project and Oral Examination. (18 Credits)

Master of Arts (M.A.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree Requirements

A relevant bachelor's degree.
Documented pertinent professional experience.
Certification or licensure as an alcohol and drug counselor.
45 credits*, which include the following:

Master of Arts (M.A.)

27 post-baccalaureate credits* in transfer, prior to, or after admission.
Research and Design I. (3 credits)**
The 7 day Graduate Seminar at the 10 day residency in St. Kitts. (3 credits)
A Thesis and Oral Defense. (12 Credits)
